Salamanca is a place where you will find the oldest university in Europe. Not only it is famous for that but the beauty of the place has mesmerized lots of travellers. It is one of the most stunning Renaissance cities found in Europe.

The house of the Shells is a mansion which is constructed with a blend of the Arabic, Gothic and Italian architecture. This building is considered by all as the most representative of the Catholic Kings’ era.

The Roman Bridge and Cathedral stands right above River Tormes. This was built as a part of the Roman road connecting Merida with Astorga.

The Façade of the Mercy is another great monument constructed in the year 1617 order by King Phillips III of Austria. The exterior and interior of the building can really charm a person for its beauty
