Shrine of Our Lady of Remedies or Santa Ana: built in the early eighteenth century, the small church has a nave with an armor ridge-pole, which becomes the main chapel in groin vault. Much restored, it retains a merit dress sculpture of the Virgin of Remedies XVIII.
Ermita de la Virgen de la Pena: this is a cave hermitage carved into the rock by a Carmelite brother between 1656 and 1682, to which he added a sacristy irregular stone, trying to simulate a natural masterpiece. The outside of the foot was made with the same intention, you have access to a semicircular and small belfry.
San Sebastian Church: its construction corresponds to the late seventeenth century, renovated on numerous occasions. It has a nave covered with armor palrhilera, a square chancel alcove with a hemispherical dome and a groin vault where murals are displayed.
Church of the Immaculate Conception: Consecrated in 1631, it is located in the upper area of the town and on the ruins of the old mosque where the Mudejar tower fulfilled the functions of bell. It has three naves separated by arches that alight the marble columns, covering the wooden Mudejar centrally and laterally in the chancel and transepts.
The Epistle opens up to another larger chapel on scallops with hemispherical domes decorated with plasterwork Malaga type, dating from 1705. During the restoration in 1992-1993 there were discovered eight pictures of apostle’s frescoes, dating from the first half of the XVII.
Ermita del Calvario: Located in the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas, it was built around 1710 for the withdrawal of the Carmelite monks who lived in the hospice and the Monastery of Compas.
Ermita de San Anton: single nave built in the eighteenth century. Holy is the size of polychrome wood from the same period. Open to the public on 17th January.
Civil Architecture
Wall Gardens: These gardens are built on the ruins of the ancient fortress surrounding the village. It contains different plant species that are complemented with a veranda overlooking the mar.
Watchtowers: There are four beacon towers that were part of an old coastal defense line located along the Mediterranean coast of Andalusia. From east to west: Calaburras Tower; Torre Nueva de La Cala del Moral; Torre battery and La Cala del Moral Calahonda.
